Large Outdoor Motion Sensor #CH3006OM

Although originally designed to work with the ReX-10 Barking Dog Alarm, the DM10A Wireless Outdoor Motion Sensor works with any X-10 RF transceiver. Upon detection of motion, the DM10A sends a radio frequency (RF) signal to the RF Transceiver. The transceiver can then turn on lights and appliances or be set to trigger a macro using a Computer Interface and software. When used with ReX-10: if the system is armed and an intruder approaches your home, the outdoor, battery operated motion detector sends a wireless signal to start the dog barking. If motion continues, ReX-10 starts to turn on indoor and outdoor lights (with optional X-10 modules). This device also has a built in photocell that can be used to turn on lights at dusk and off at dawn. Other devices with this feature are the SD533 Sundowner and the PR511 Dual Floodlight Motion Detector.DM10A's range is up to 40'.
